Members of the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN visited the exhibition What I See – Marine Organisms for Persons with Visual Impairment, prepared by the Academy of Fine Arts and Design (UL ALUO) in cooperation with the Kaverljag Association and the Centre of Illusions. The exhibition explores marine biology through scientific illustration and is specially adapted for people with visual impairments.
Exhibitions of this kind are extremely important as they allow visitors with visual impairments to touch the objects on display, enabling them to gain a deeper understanding of the content. The tactile experience is a key way to better understand and present art and scientific concepts, contributing to a more accessible and inclusive cultural experience.
We would like to express our gratitude for the excellent exhibition and the expert guidance, which made for an unforgettable and enriching experience.
