On Wednesday, on 5th of April 2023, the Andragogical Association of Slovenia held an international consultation entitled Inclusion and diversity in the learning and education of adults with disabilities.
The Secretary of the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN, Dr. Simona Gerenčer, also attended the consulatiton and presented the challenges of inclusion in the field of deafblindness that people with deafblindness face in practice.
“Deafblindness is a major obstacle and pain. You live with it because you have to. You deal with it day by day” (person with deafblindness).
