In the past few days, the President of The EDbU – The European Deafblind Union, Francisco Javier Trigueros Molina, and his team of interpreters visited the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN. We were very happy to see them, and it was certainly most gratifying that conversations in the language of the deafblind (between individuals with deafblindness) were able to take place without the help of interpreters. In this way, people with deafblindness presented the situation of deafblind people in Slovenia and their personal experience of the current situation.
We hope to see as many such visits and successful collaborations as possible.
