At the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN, we organized a gathering on the topic “Mindfulness and Nature: Paths to Relaxation,” led by Ana Hribar, a certified forest therapy guide from Arboretum Volčji Potok.
We began the event with movement exercises that helped relax both body and mind, preparing us for a deeper experience of nature. Ms. Hribar then introduced various natural elements she had brought from the forest—flowers, moss, leaves, and tree bark. Individuals with deafblindness had the opportunity to explore these natural treasures up close, immersing themselves in their scents, textures, and energy, fostering a greater connection with nature.
We sincerely thank Ana Hribar for her expert guidance and inspiring presentation. We look forward to further collaboration and new opportunities to explore nature and its beneficial effects.
