We spent a delightful morning at the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN, where we learned the basics of cowboy dancing, led by professional worker Erika Prestor. The activity was filled with joy, movement, and shared energy as we learned new dance steps together in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
Learning new dances is not only enjoyable, but it also has many positive effects on health and well-being. Group dance practice is a wonderful way to socialize, unwind, and build a sense of belonging to a community, which has a particularly positive impact on the participants’ well-being.
Members enjoyed acquiring new skills, and the exercise brought us plenty of laughter and positive energy.
