In the framework of the DLAN BERE project, which is aimed at improving the language and reading literacy skills of people with deafblindness, we presented Fran Levstik, a Slovenian writer, poet, storyteller, playwright and literary critic, at a workshop in October.
His best-known story is the folk realist tale Martin Krpan, which he published in Slovene Messenger in 1858.
Alongside the literary travelogue From Litije to Čatež, we also presented Levstik’s Trail, which is synonymous with the Slovenian language. This year, the 37th trip along the 34-kilometre route from Litija to Čatež has been organised.
