On a sunny Thursday, May 25, 2023, the Happy Day of Volunteering took place at Prešeren Square in Ljubljana, which took place as part of the National Volunteer Week. The organizer of this event was the Slovenian Philanthropy – Association for the Promotion of Volunteerism. As part of the event, the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN also presented itself with its stand. Our presentation covered the activities and programs that we regularly implement for people with deafblindness. Some passers-by had the opportunity to experience with their own eyes and ears what it is like to be deafblind by using special earplugs and tinted glasses.
