The Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN was visited by students from 6th and 8th grades of Šentvid Primary School, under the mentorship of professor Janja Zver, with the aim to get to know people with deafblindness and read them some informative stories from their lives.
The bravest pupils also established communication with people with deafblindness in order to explore the field of deafblindness.
The gathering, aimed at intergenerational networking and raising young people’s awareness of deafblindness, took place in a warm, pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. It will remain in our memories for a long time.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the participants and especially to the students of Šentvid Primary School and the professor who encourage this kind of cooperation.
