On Tuesday, 19th of April 2022, members of The Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN, accompanied by personal assistants, employees and volunteers, went to a whole-day trip to Vipava region, which was organised and financed by Lions Club Ljubljana.
First, we stopped at Vipava, where we felt the Egyptian sarcophagus and walked to the unique delta shaped spring of Vipava river. Our journey led us to Zemono mansion, which often hosts many events, and then we continued to Vipavski križ, a village considered as one of the most beautiful cultural monuments in Slovenia. Our trip ended with visit at Marc homestead in Selce pri Vipavi, where we tried their homemade delicacies.
We thank Lions Club Ljubljana and its representative, Mrs Dunja Olga Bohorič, for making this wonderful trip come true, for great organisation and nice and educational experience.
