The Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN, as an independent and professional disability organization with the status of representativeness for persons with deafblindness, strives for the inclusion of the language of the deafblind in the Constitution of the Republic of Slovenia. Irena Ipavec Dobrota, a linguist employed by The Association DLAN, spoke for the web portal Dostopno RTV SLO about deafblindness, ways of communication with people with deafblindness and the importance of entering the language of the deafblind in the constitution.
