Last week, in The Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN, we were delighted by the news that the novel Plastenje s(r)amot by Štefan Kardoš and Jožica Atelšek has been published by Založba Litera.
This is an extremely important literary work in Slovenia, as for the first time a person with deafblindness – Mrs. Jožica Atelšek – was found in the role of co-author. With her important achievement, Jožica Atelšek proves and is a shining example of what people with deafblindness can do with some support.
An audio recording and a translation of the book into Braille are also being prepared.
