On Tuesday 7th of July 2020, members of Association DLAN accompanied by personal assistants, employees and volunteers, went on a full day trip to Bohinj, organized and financed by the Lions Club Ljubljana.
On the way to Bohinj we first stopped in the medieval town of Radovljica, where we learned a lot of interesting things on a guided tour. The next stop was in Bohinjska Bistrica where we got to know alpine wild flowers, took a walk around the camp and ate an excellent home-made lunch at a nearby inn. After the lunch, full of energy and good mood, we drove to the starting point to the Savica Waterfall and climbed all the way to the lookout point. After visiting the mighty waterfall, we took a boat ride along the beautiful Lake Bohinj all the way to Ribčev Laz, where we could see and feel the miniature Triglav.
We would like to thank the Lions Club Ljubljana, which made this beautiful trip possible, and their representative Mrs. Dunja Olga Bohorič, who accompanied us and made this trip unforgettable.
