Students of the Faculty of Social Work, in the course Empowerment and Advocacy in Mental Health, during the exercises of Assist. Dr. Simona Gerenčer, had the opportunity to visit the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN. In practice, they met people with deafblindness and tried communicating in the language of the deafblind.
In the afternoon, Luka Markus also joined us, with whom we are developing an idea for celebrating the 20th anniversary of the DLAN Association. We can’t wait to reveal more to you!
We ended the day, full of warmth, new insights and creativity, with a very special celebration – our member, Mrs. Olga, celebrated her 80th birthday in the community.
