We visited the exhibition Once Upon a Time There Was Gutenward at the National Gallery, where we were guided through an engaging story by Mrs. Tea Černe. The exhibition took us back in time to the lives of the people who lived in Gutenward, a former village, now better known as the Island near Dobrava.

Mrs. Černe gave us a detailed presentation of how people lived back then, what they did, and what their daily life was like. The inhabitants were engaged in various crafts and agriculture, and life was simple, closely connected to nature and the local community. The exhibition also included objects that people used at that time, from tools to everyday items, giving us a better understanding of their lives.

One of the special features of the exhibition was the opportunity to touch some of these objects. This was a unique experience, as we could imagine through touch what the materials and tools used by people at that time were like.

The entire exhibition was both interesting and educational. The content presented by Mrs. Tea Černe provided us with a deeper insight into the history of our area and the everyday life of people who lived centuries ago. The exhibition enriched us with new perspectives on the past and delighted us with its interactive approach.
