On 7 October 2024, the launch of Vlasta Nussdorfer’s new book, 50 Grains of Happiness, took place at Dvor Castle, Preddvor, hosted by Count and Countess Grof.

The book is a collection of life stories and tales, some of them amusing, each ending with a message about the importance of happiness. It also offers lessons and wisdom that inspire us and can help make us better every day. The stories are reminiscent of fables, with a positive and uplifting narrative.

Vlasta Nussdorfer dedicated the book to people with deafblindness and to the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN. This dedication fills us at DLAN with great honour, and people with deafblindness expressed their gratitude to her and congratulated her on her birthday. Tanja Šubelj Grof Grofica and Mirjana Šernek were also celebrated during the event.

The event was enriched by many surprises, including performances by well-known and talented musicians Samuel Hudl, Sam’s Fever, Mirjana Šernek, Regina, Milena Vračko, and Dečve z Gorenjske.

A heartfelt and sincere thank you to Mrs. Vlasta Nussdorfer for her charitable spirit, and to all the organisers, the hosts Count and Countess Grof, and all the participants.
