The Advocate of the Principle of Equality of the Republic of Slovenia made recommendations on the draft Law on the Use of the Language of the Deaf-Blind (ZUJG), advising the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs, and Equal Opportunities (MDSSZ) to strictly adhere to anti-discrimination legislation and the state’s obligations under the laws on the equalization of opportunities for persons with disabilities and the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities when drafting the law.
