Part of today’s team of brave people from the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN, who proudly shared their life story with students at the Faculty of Social Work.
How much strength and courage do people with deafblindness have. Today they proudly spoke about the most difficult and darkest moments of their lives. They speak without reservation about pain, suffering, contempt, discrimination and at the same time about finding sources of strength and life itself. They make it a point to overcome the many obstacles they face on a daily basis.
We would like to sincerely thank the Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mojca Urek, for the opportunity.
Thank you also to the interpreters, personal assistans and the whole team of the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN.
